It's never fun to watch a loved one be punished for mistakes they've made. And if those mistakes are severe
enough, it's likely that such a punishment could mean spending time in a federal prison. When this occurs, it
can leave feelings of isolation, frustration, anger and depression among other loved ones. Perhaps worst of all,
loved ones may come away with the feeling that their loved one will be unreachable, whether it be by letter,
telephone call or an in-person visit.
